A Rottweiler in Australia
2nd birthday!

Clare showing her birthday present: an exquisite collar with attached bandana and matching leash!

In addition I bought a 250ml bottle of Metacam (for horses - it will last longer). She will need the pain relief for some time - perhaps for the rest of her life.

It was an exquisite present as well: $ 285.- (I would have paid EURO 68.00 in Austria!). It's expensive to become ill in Australia (not only for animals).

clare seems to be very proud of her new accessoires - she really is a beautiful girl.

ilvie had to take rimydyl for the last two years of her life - i also bought the large bottles ... the remaining tablets went to hungary to help some of my friends old dogs to walk (a little better), and it works. juli sometimes sends me photos of her "patients" - she was leading pharmacists in a hospital in budapest, and now after retiring she has a kind of animal shelter for old dogs, and sometimes handicapped old ones, so you can imagine ...

and i always know what i can send her for x-mas or any other occasions: home-made cranberrie jam and rimadyl.

It's really an enrichment - all those new generation pain killers. When I studied (in the 80) phenylbutazon was the only medication, with lot's of side effects. Now the NSAID are easily digestable.
