I asked the real estate agent about the price - it is $ 1700.- per acre for the arable land (=75 acres) and $ 700.- for the rest (= 440 acres). Together $ 435 000.-
Anyone out there to make a donation? To secure the land for 'my' wombat?

in Australia. As permanent resident I'm (thank heavens) not eligible to vote - but the citizens have to. It's compulsory. Here a decision guidance for the poor voters:
