This morning I discovered this little corps underneath the nest of 'my' Welcome Swallows.
I couldn't help but I had to check the content of the nest again so I climbed the chair. One young was in there (remember: last week I saw 3 eggs). The literature describes that the parents are warming their offspring (http://www.wiresnr.org/swallows) but the two swallows are not looking after their child at all. They sit on a wire next by singing a song and cleaning their plumage. Cruel parents.
