Postponed! The officer from the immigration department told me that I missed one of the (felt thousands) obligations. I have to repeat the whole process in November! I don't know how this will work. The processing time will be 11 months and my visa expires in May 2013. Why is everything so complicated?

this is not fair, and not logical. you will have to get some in-between permission or something like that for staying, right? sometimes the officials are a little, well, interesting in their behaviour?

Es ist aber wirklich laecherlich. Fuer mein Visum muss ich ein Investment bei Australischen Staat fuer 4 Jahre innehaben. Es ist ein gebundenes Investment. Das laeuft im November aus. Es steht aber in den Unterlagen nirgendswo, das das Investment bei Antragstellung schon 'matured' sein muss. Das behaupted der Beamte aber. Streiten mit jemandem von dessen Entscheidung man abhaeng ist macht sich nicht so gut (frage aber trotzdem mal bei einem Rechstanwalt nach). Grrrr.
