in vienna yesterday we had 36°C in the afternoon, and only a little wind. the air was sticky, people were moving slowly and reacted aggressive and stubborn. in the late evening a little lightning and thunder started, and a little rain, now it is about 21°C, the air is still dump and wet, like in the djungle. all the animals here are just looking for cool places - in the afternoon both cats and pixy were lying in the bathroom on the cool tiles, and the finches asked for fresh bathing water about every hour - habibi, habibi, habibi, HABIIIBIII! the finches prefer the turkish mini-cucumbers, by the way, but they only eat the seeds out of it and leave the rest. they do not want normal cucumbers, as the seeds are too big for their small beaks, i tried several times, and they go: habibi, habibi, habibi, HABIIBII! i am wondering how they learnt to speak arabian (habibi is the word for friend in most arabic languages). on the other hand, they do not need special names, they all together are "the habibis"; a funny crowd.

Cute!
