Mike Tyson

Chasing kangaroos - I hate this dog when she is doing it again. But unfortunately it happens. I'm working on it.
But this time she found her master: meet 'Mike Tyson'. Instead of hopping away he took the challenge turned around and started to chase Clare. At least 30 min or longer (I went back to grab the camera) Clare tried to provoke him but he seemed unimpressed. Clare didn't listen to my callings but finally was too exhausted to proceed. She gave up. The roo was sitting at the same spot for some time, looking at her direction and obviously wanted Clare to return.

Model 'Clare'

I'm working hard for my presentation "1.Aid Class for Pet Owners" and Clare has to help me.
Today we created a video "How to apply a paw bandage":
Please apologize my horrible accent. I tried to keep my mouth shut but couldn't help to start to chatter.

Work of art

This extraordinary piece of art is first thing to see when entering the 'town' (1 pub, 3 houses, 1 mail collecting point).
It's getting beautified by a handsome dog!
Hard work for a Rottie with hipdysplasia.
But it's worth the trouble.
Grinning from ear to ear.

"We all want the best nutrition for our pets, but how do you choose the perfect diet we hear you ask? It's easy! By consistently feeding a premium food, you can ensure your pet stays healthy and lives longer. Premium foods are high quality and prepared with the correct balance of nutrients and calories.
Research confirms premium food is more economical than supermarket brands - you need to feed less quantity of a premium food for greater benefits.
Here are just a few of the pros of a premium, highly digestible food:
•excellent coat and skin
•maximum absorption and uptake nutrients
•reduced tummy upsets
•minimal, well formed faeces that are easy to pick up (who wouldn't want that!?)
Premium foods offer options for every stage of your pet's life so be sure to ask us about the best nutrition for your pet.... and don't go offering your dog the foods mentioned in this video!"

I'm thinking of offering first aid classes for pet owners. For that reason I organised 2 toy dogs which I will use as manikins. Clare got very excited and thought they were real. So she was sniffing underneath their tail and cleaning their ears! How cute is that.

Happy and

relaxed AUSTRALIA DAY.
Although Clare has her own lounge she prefers to squeeze herself into the crate. She must do whatever makes her happy!

Clare really likes to make herself comfortable. Have a look - a special lounge for a special dog:

Finally!
2012-11-26 19:37
Clare is doing her job - being a guardian! I have to circle the date in the calendar.
A car approached the gate and Clare was running along the fence and barking like a very dangerous watchdog. Later I received a phone call. The person wanted to ask me some questions but didn't dare to enter the property because of the Rottweiler. Good girl. I thought this situation would never happen.

2nd birthday!

Clare showing her birthday present: an exquisite collar with attached bandana and matching leash!
In addition I bought a 250ml bottle of Metacam (for horses - it will last longer). She will need the pain relief for some time - perhaps for the rest of her life.
It was an exquisite present as well: $ 285.- (I would have paid EURO 68.00 in Austria!). It's expensive to become ill in Australia (not only for animals).

Private Property!
Trespassers will be prosecuted!
These are the most common signs on gates. I bought this one:
The intruder may think his own part (he probably won't assume to be licked to death).
